Lead Advancement Data/Report System Analyst

Responsible for leading a team of Analysts to support the data needs and integrity within the Advancement Department . This role will have leadership responsibility in project management and will work with staff, source data owners, information technology and service staff, and data user customers from various departments of the hospital. Plays an instrumental role in automating and building reporting tools to increase efficiency. Responsible for submitting data for regulatory reporting requirements.
a. Triage incoming data quality incidents or inquiries to the appropriate staff member.
b. Work with staff to track progress of data quality incidents in the Incident database.
c. Work with data users/customers and data suppliers to identify and resolve data quality issues by assessing their impact, investigating root cause, and working with business data owners to identify and implement solutions.
d. Integrates the use of information systems, databases, and data analytic tools to analyze and solve data quality problems.
Requirements: Education:
Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, Statistics or related field is required. Masters degree in Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field highly preferred. Experience/Skills Sought:
A minimum of five years' prior work experience functioning in the role of a data analyst and/or business analyst, including facilitation of performance improvement projects and/or quantitative analysis/reporting of quality and efficiency measurements required.
Minimum of one years' experience leading a team of analysts to achieve project objectives required.
A minimum of one years' experience in health care or non-profit setting is preferred.
Experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge, other relational databases, SSRS/SSIS, SQL, Python/R, data warehousing, ETL development, Tableau or other BI tools a plus. Why work here?
