JOB SUMMARY: Manages the daily operations of the Supply Chain Management department.
Ensures that all services and activities regarding distribution are carried out accurately and in a timely manner. Serves as liaison to achieve departmental goals.
Manages staff relations, including performance management, staff satisfaction and conflict management. Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts and vendor relations.
Performs ongoing assessment, review and update of departmental procedures, processes and workflow to produce high-quality, cost-effective delivery of products and services. Implements improvement plans based on the Director's approval.
Provides project management for product conversions or other initiatives within the organization.
Monitors fiscal and budgetary operations and provides support for the vision and direction of Material Services.
Develops and manages business contracts as appropriate. Provides informal feedback to senior management.
Maintains a working knowledge of regulatory issues of the associated with the functions of the department and promotes adherence to the Carondelet Corporate Responsibility Program and federal and state guidelines associated with the functions of the department.
Ensures compliance with healthcare regulatory and accreditation requirements.
EDUCATION: Required: Bachelor (BS, BA) or any related field equivalent combination of education and directly related training or work experience.
WORK EXPERIENCE: Required: Five (5) years related experience with at least three (3) years supervisory.
