We are seeking a professional like you to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the DEVelopment and Operations of agricultural R&D applications.
Leading projects for new R&D incl. regulatory science functionalities and enhancing or extending existing applications for scientists in AP
Testing changes/updates during rollout. Helping create and maintain application documentation (ie. user manuals, training documents).
Performing designated administrative functions. Helping with training of users
Aiding in day-to-day software maintain/run DevOps activities. Participating in other devOps related groups/projects, as necessary and assigned.
Formula for Success: You Will...
BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field with at least 10 years application development experience.
5 or more years' experience developing and supporting Scientific applications, or 3 years' experience supporting regulatory application development in a Life Sciences environment
3 or more years' experience in systems analysis and database concepts.
Working knowledge of SW development solutions technologies Java, Oracle, SQL
Demonstrated ability to understand the basic scientific concepts involved in Agro-chemistry or plant biotechnology, to enable effective requirements gathering and user support activities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and communication skills.
Ability to multi-task while maintaining a high degree of detailed attentiveness.
Ability to plan, prioritize and organize to meet short term and long-term requirements.
