Position Overview: FibroGen seeks a seasoned attorney with licensing and compliance experience to manage diverse projects as part of its stable, well-staffed Legal department. S/he will provide transactional support, including licensing, for a variety of areas including manufacturing, clinical, compliance and commercial contracting. FibroGen offers a unique opportunity to work with an exceptionally strong in-house team on a diverse pipeline of clinical development, drug discovery and commercialization efforts across multiple jurisdictions.

Location: San Francisco, CA (but remote work until safe)
Relocation: This is a national search, but local candidates are preferred.
Experience: 7-12+ years of experience as an attorney in a law firm or in-house legal environment in the biotechnology or pharmaceuticals industry. Experience with commercial and compliance support of marketed products is preferred. Contract drafting, and negotiation experience is required, including, (ideally) clinical and manufacturing agreements. The ability to speak and/or write Mandarin Chinese is helpful but not required.
