Add your talents to the ALCS Procurement team and help us achieve our 10-year vision to responsibly lead the transition of adult smokers to a non-combustible future. In this role, you will have the guidance and support you need and the autonomy you want.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assist Procurement Directors in ad hoc analysis and presentations to the Procurement Leadership Team
You will manage bidding and contract execution
You will source and select appropriate suppliers
You will coordinate and negotiate contract terms and conditions with stakeholders
You will manage relationships with critical suppliers
You will participate in or lead cross-functional business efforts and projects related to the procurement of services or goods
You will identify potential solutions for mitigating risk
You will perform basic market research and business analysis to identify strategies for achieving optimal business value
You will prepare complex and sensitive procurement contracts and advise clients on their responsibilities associated with contract management
You will support supplier execution of contracts/alliances
Identify Ongoing Productivity opportunities to reduce overall costs
Specific qualifications include:
Bachelor’s degree in a Business/Technical discipline or 3-4 years of equivalent experience in Procurement or a related field
Distinctive problem solving and analytical skills, combined with impeccable business judgment
Exemplary oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present to Sr. Management
Team player who is willing to help out other team members as necessary, which contributes to creating a positive culture
Proficient computer skills – Excel, PowerPoint, Business Analytic software (i.e. Power BI, Tableau, etc.), SAP, preferred
Negotiation and Project Management experience preferred
Professional designation (including CPSM, CSCP, etc.) or Master’s degree a plus
Telecommuting is allowed. Employer will assist with relocation costs.
