On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Business Analyst for a 6 Month contract based remotely.
Purpose of the Role:
The Brexit programme is looking for an experienced FS (ideally UK P&C) SME / BA to work as part of a team responsible for the delivery of its general insurance business regulatory application to the UK regulator and definition of a new end-state Target Operating Model. The role will suit an experienced regulatory SME that has worked on Regulatory and TOM programmes.
As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for:
Identify both the regulatory and functional areas that will be impacted as part of the new TOM
Where required, document existing 'As is' BAU processes (leveraging existing documentation and knowledge of functional SMEs)
Facilitate and document 'to be' gap analyses, gleaning knowledge from existing functional SMEs and sense-checking proposed solutions; develop deep understanding of functional areas
Provide final end-state blueprint design and requirements (people, processes, technology)
Present all findings back to functional business leads / teams for verification / validation & gain functional approvals
Support of any day to day queries as they arise in the functions
Support Application lead, other SMEs and PM as required
What we require from the candidate:
Strong FS regulatory experience, (ideally PRA/FCA authorisation applications), and background with a good understanding of 1st Line Operational / Technical areas (highly desired is Underwriting, Claims, Operations and IT)
At least 7-10 years in a FS / UK P&C role - any previous Brexit, TOM experience preferred
Must be able to drive out the functional TOM gap analysis, design and requirements and have validated by business leads.
