Relentless pursuit of better As a valued member of our Business Legal Team, you'll play a key role in providing world-class strategic legal advice and support to our money transfer and payments business in Europe. You will be responsible for advising senior business, compliance, legal and other internal stakeholders with regard to commercial, regulatory and compliance matters. You will provide expert, strategic and creative legal support in respect of new and existing products and commercial arrangements with new and existing partners. You will be asked to lead or contribute to projects having a cross-functional and multi-jurisdictional dimension. As part of your role, you will research, analyze and monitor new and existing laws across Europe in coordination with other legal and compliance colleagues, and you will manage outside counsel wisely.
For you to be successful in this role, you will need to have significant experience in delivering strategic business legal support with a strong focus on financial services or the payments industries, which you might have gained in a law firm and/or a corporate legal department. You will be customer-focused, collaborative, proactive and innovative. You'll need to hold a Law degree, be a fully qualified lawyer, and have relevant post-qualification experience. Having experience working in a multinational environment, capital markets, and/or a foreign language skill are an advantage. Previous experience of agile working methodologies is also desirable.
