Position Description (About the Job):
The Brand Management Intern assists in the development and execution of brand product strategy consistent with all aspects of the business, including new product development, financial management, marketing planning and tactical execution of plans. The Brand Management Intern will be based in either our White Plains, NY or Broomfield, CO office.Please specify in your cover letter which location you prefer.We will do our best to honor your preferences, but cannot guarantee that you will be placed at your first choice.
This internship is expected to run from May 2020 through August 2020.
Assisting in development and execution of brand product strategy and plans for product line(s).
Driving brand value by utilizing basic consumer insight principles.
Contributing to the development of consistent brand plans to build brand equity as a means of attaining volume goals and long-term profit growth.
Execution of marketing initiatives including media, promotions, digital, direct mail/CRM, packaging, new product launches; direct responsibility over the management of applicable agency partners
Assisting in financial analysis, competitive analysis, pricing analysis and category analysis. Identifying key trends and brand implications. Works with key decision tools and information sources.
Leading and interfacing with cross-functional teams to execute brand plans.
Candidate Qualifications (About You):
Education and Experience:
BA/BS required in Marketing or related field
Currently pursuing MBA
Experience with key decision tools (Nielsen, Panel Data) a plus
Good analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
