Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Student Assistant for the Medical Oncology department at Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey (CINJ).
The Student Assistant will support the development and administration of several research studies focused on mental health, cancer, and aging.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Supports research activities.
Conducts literature reviews.
Assists with the editing and preparation of manuscripts, publications, reports and presentations.
Prepares materials for submission of grant applications.
Prepares and maintains all necessary IRB regulatory documents and IRB submissions.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Currently enrolled in Master's or doctoral program preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Effective oral and communication skills.
Computer literate with proficiency and working knowledge of database and reporting tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
Psychology coursework related to aging/gerontology.
