The Imaging Services Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and managing the overall operation of the Imaging Services Department. This position provides supervision to technical imaging staff/support staff, including providing team member coaching, counseling, and mentoring. In addition, this position must be able to lead operational functions to include but not limited to patient/customer satisfaction, administrative responsibilities, information, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, clinical performance and all patient care within radiology imaging
Minimum Education:â¢High School graduateâ¢Certification from an AMA approved radiologic tech program or similar certification from another accredited program in an imaging modality. Minimum Experience/Knowledge:â¢Minimum two (2) years experience in a supervisory or lead technologist roleâ¢Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively.â¢Strong organizational, time management and planning skills. â¢Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks, changing priorities, stressful situations and complex assignments. Required License/Certification:â¢ARRT with Fluoroscopy OR certification for another imaging modality. â¢BLS for Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association.â¢LA City Fire and Safety Certification. If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire, and maintained by renewal before expiration date.
