This is a Sales position within IHS Markit's PRC Division specifically driving revenue for the Trade Processing business, MarkitSERV. MarkitSERV provides end-to-end trade processing and workflow solutions that support all participants in OTC trading from post-trade notices of execution, trade confirmation and allocations to clearing and regulatory reporting.
MarkitSERV has 2,500 buyside, 100+ dealer and 70+ inter dealer connections globally. This position will be reporting into the of Head of EMEA Sales but work closely with the Global team across PRC. MarkitSERV has recently won awards for our Best Trade Reporting Solution.
Duties and Responsibilities - "Your Role"
Key responsibilities include:
Development and execution of sales plans with assigned quota
Direct sales of MarkitSERV' s suite of products including Integrated Reporting, Enterprise FX, MarkitWire, DSMatch and Markit Trade Manager
Generate and follow up on leads, qualify leads and prioritize opportunities
Deliver and co-ordinate customer presentations and demonstrations
Relationship maintenance and development of key relationships to generate active sponsorship
Renewal of existing contracts
Strategic work and thinking with client base to identify new initiatives and partnership opportunities
Job Requirements - "About You"
Key Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience
Solution selling hunter mentality and proof of exceeding quota annually each year
Knowledge and experience of capital markets and especially the OTC trade processing and Regulatory Reporting space
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
