JOBSUMMARY/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Under the direction of an assignedsupervisor, this position assists with the development of a multi-center datarepository that involves extraction of data collected across behavioral,imaging, clinical, demographic, interventions, and treatment outcomes. Thisposition also performs a variety of basic and general research experiments thatinclude database management, lab maintenance, supply ordering, specificresearch projects, regulatory documentation, and assistance in manuscript andgrant preparation.
Assists in every phase of study design/creation of the multi-center data repository, which is related to language mapping procedures in patients with epilepsy or brain tumors.
Handles documentation compilation and reporting of quality checks on data to the principal investigator.
Maintains regulatory documentation from all participating institutions and accurate dated records of experiments and protocols.
Extracts, analyzes, and presents experimental data from the multi-center database.
Assists the principal investigator with publication of data and grant and manuscript writing and preparation of proposals, as requested or required.
Conducts literature searches and systematic reviews.
Performs research procedures including subject screening, consenting, setting-up and completing TMS, MRI, speech and voice and other studies, monitoring for adverse events, and regulatory documentation.
Routinely setups for all study related procedures.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
