Owning the design, implementation and maintenance of a world class IA methodology & QA capability.
Driving continuous improvement, agility and efficiency in IA's audit methodology, QA and wider working practices.
Championing value and quality across IA's output through advice, training, feedback and challenge delivered before, during and after specific audit engagements. QA activity will include both individual files and thematic reviews.
Work with business managers to improve control effectiveness and agree any action required
Interpret and apply relevant regulatory guidance to the business areas and provide pragmatic alternative solutions and support to the business where standards are deemed to be `non-compliant
Manage and engage multiple stakeholders relationship engaged in the process at various levels of seniority
Creating and maintaining QA MI for the IA function.
Coordinating with 2nd line to deliver coherence between IA's methodology and SLA's wider Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
Maintaining an industry-wide network to synthesise best practice and develop new capabilities within the function.
Background of the Position:
Significant practical experience of IA delivery, ideally in an asset management or wider financial services context.
A good understanding of IIA standards and working practices.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in a 1:1 and group environment.
First class partner engagement skills and a genuine ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels.
Experience of delivering high-quality outputs to a high level of consistency within a demanding environment
