Technology Risk (State Street Bank and Trust Company; North Quincy, Massachusetts ): will serve as part of State Street's Enterprise Technology Risk Management (ETRM) group, which is tasked with leadership, oversight, monitoring, and advisement related to discovery management and remediation of IT risks throughout the State Street enterprise. The Technology Risk Consultant will collaborate with State Street's Global Continuity Services, as well as the Technology group, to operationalize ETRM group's Second Line of Defense program. Specific duties of the position include: Conducting continuous IT Risk assessments, end-to-end, of the effectiveness and maturity of the Global Continuity Services Model and Disaster Recovery Process and Capabilities management controls and remediation; utilizing the Deep Dive methodology and sound project management practices to conduct technology risk assessments engaging multiple stakeholders and technical SMEs in working sessions, assess reporting, evidences, and information from working groups, and track key risk indicators and findings through remediation; anticipating critical issues and risks (including from regulatory changes) and taking responsibility for resolution across the organization; working collaboratively with the First Line of Defense, as well as with Audit, Compliance and other ERM functions to operationalize ETRM's Second Line of Defense; extracting, analyzing, synthesizing, and reporting on information from various sources (including from Archer) data needed for assessments or risk measurement, building analytics schedules, and identifying observations, trends, risks, and cross referencing this to ongoing improvement initiatives; track and drive execution of overall second line plan, monitor information from Company's internal issues repository, and ensure tasks and risk/remediation milestones are mapped and tracked to respective owners, and milestones completed as designed by deadlines; assisting with planning scenario analysis exercises orchestrated between the ETRM and Enterprise Continuity groups; and support development of presentations and risk assessment reports and dashboards for various continuity and risk committees to highlight findings and recommendations.
Minimum requirements are: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field; 7 years of technology audit, risk management or experience in financial services industry; and 7 years of experience overall with technology, risk management, continuity, or related IT disciplines
Must have: Demonstrated knowledge of resiliency, continuity planning, and disaster recovery process and capabilities; proven project management skills and experience with Analytics using Microsoft Tools; proven knowledge of risk management function, and controls and KRI tracking; demonstrated experience with Technology Risk Audit and First Line IT Governance and Controls oversight; proven ability to identify, capture, bring forward key issues and recommendations to Management; demonstrated communications skills both orally and written; and demonstrated experience with Archer System including issues management reporting, and tracking.
