Provide legal and regulatory advice and assistance to CS in respect of its IBOR Transition programme. After completion of the IBOR Transition programme, the role will provide transactional support to the Fixed Income Wealth Management, Global Credit Products and other desks so that CS can conduct its activities in compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations and the Firm's ethical standards.
Provide legal support to internal partners in relation to CS's IBOR Transition programme.
Provide legal support to front office and other partners in relation to OTC derivatives transactions executed by CS.
Support regulatory initiatives that relate to the OTC derivatives markets.
Exercise a challenge and control function as a 2LOD / 2nd Line of Defence.
Align with and promote Credit Suisse's Conduct and Ethics Standards at all times.
Collaborate with colleagues in other divisions/regions on common issues.
Collaborate with Compliance colleagues to ensure one stop shop provision of services.
Manage and participate in General Counsel departmental initiatives.
Open to discussing flexible/ agile working.
University Degree in law or equivalent work experience. Proven track record in the financial services industry as a lawyer at international law firms Detailed knowledge of OTC derivatives. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Hardworking, results-oriented individual with strong writing, analytical, research and problem solving skills. Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize and complete tasks on time. Proactive and willing to take ownership of matters.
