Job Description The role is part of Global Markets Compliance team. The incumbent will work in GM Compliance team in wide ranging activities. Experience in Compliance advisory for Global Markets business lines and having exposure to exchanges rules will be necessary. Commodities business knowledge will be useful. He/she will support other Compliance for Global Markets who covers Fixed Income, Credit and equity derivatives. Assisting Commodities business in Regulatory reporting will include liaison with IT/Ops. Some assistance for the team on Regulatory tracking is required.
Providing regulatory advisory and compliance support for Global Markets, focusing on Commodities and supporting other GM Compliance colleagues covering Fixed Income, Credit and Equity Derivatives. Providing liaison on Regulatory reporting on Commodities with IT and Operations.
Preparing and/or providing face to face training of business with other Compliance may be required.
Assisting IT, Operations in setting out governance/framework for regulatory reporting for Commodities business.
Regulatory developments and policy
Regulatory tracking for Global Markets to help GM Compliance in advising businesses on regulatory developments.
Business Compliance preferably business lines such as Commodities
Strong interest in financial markets with previous role/internships within this area
Team spirit, commitment and flexibility
Good relationship building skills
Able to work effectively under pressure
Integrity and trustworthiness
Experience in gap-analysing Regulation against in-house policies/procedures
Proficiency in English (written and verbal) with another language (French, Italian, Polish, Spanish, Turkish) would be an advantage, but not essential.
