The Regulatory Reporting team is responsible for ensuring that the organisation adheres to the required standards of various regimes, including MIFID II Transaction Reporting, MIFID II Post Trade Transparency Reporting, EMIR and ASIC reporting.
The team's scope will expand to for two new regulations (MAS and SFTR) later in 2020.
Working alongside internal project teams, the candidate will join the Regulatory Reporting team to support the design, build and implementation of both SFTR and MAS reporting.
In addition, the candidate may be required to assist on various remediation exercises of existing regulations supported by the team.
The individual will be required to work with internal and external parties as required in order to ensure that the defined timeframes on the implementation and/or remediation are met.
This will include assisting in requirements gathering, together with the testing of the process.
Work with existing project team and regulatory reporting team to appropriately prioritise and complete assigned work
Liaise with internal IT teams to assist in requirements design and implementation
Liaise with external parties where required on the solution design and implementation.
Engage with MSIM IT on testing etc and ongoing support
Create and execute UAT test scripts
Detailed product and instrument knowledge

Candidates for this position will have some experience in a comparable role within the financial industry. They should have a good understanding of financial markets and in scope instruments.
The individual must have excellent attention to detail and be a self-starter who is able to maintain a high standard of accuracy while managing various deadlines, a creative individual that can work independently or as part of a team working to exceed expectations.
Strong communication and time management skills are required together with a proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience working with large data sets and performing complex data analysis would be beneficial.
