Afternoon Shift Position – Monday through Friday 1:30PM – 9:30PM
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for preventive and reactive maintenance, installation and general support of production and facilities equipment working in a team environment. In addition, there is electrical work with controllers that is also part of this role.
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to;
Perform Preventative Maintenance for production and facility equipment
Assist in new equipment installation and commissioning
Create and complete Request to Purchase forms for repairs as required
Create and complete work orders and enter data into CMMS
Refine existing work processes/procedures for existing machines, including preventative maintenance procedures
Perform root cause analysis/troubleshooting/safety and problem-solving of quality errors
Transfer and share knowledge with other team members
Support EH&S initiatives throughout the facility, ensuring safety, housekeeping and quality standards are maintained
Perform other duties as assigned
High school diploma/ GED required
3+ years working in a manufacturing environment in a maintenance role highly preferred
Licensed in relevant trade preferred
Understanding of health & safety procedures in a manufacturing environment is a must
Electrical experience/knowledge required
Solid understanding of the technical aspects of CNC machine tools
Understanding of CNC programming; able to follow programming procedure
Ability to work with more refined diagnostic tools
Ability to read and interpret hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Off-shift work may be required
On-call duty is required of this position
Minimal travel is required of this position
