Washington Regulatory Affairs Manager (2001508) - Washington, DC
Where the Chemistry Happens
We are looking for a Federal Regulatory Affairs Manager to provide on-site management of BASF regulatory activities at US EPA and other federal regulatory agencies, and to develop, implement, and take accountability for strategies to ensure on-time success of BASF regulatory actions/submissions. Continuously interface with US EPA and other federal regulatory agencies through formal and informal meetings, for topics ranging from pre-submission to issue resolution to prioritization of actions, and facilitate meetings between federal regulatory agencies and BASF stakeholders to include senior management. Work closely with the BASF Regulatory Department to ensure targets are met and the best strategies are developed and implemented, and stay abreast of and report on routinely changing federal regulations and their potential business impact. Assume leadership role and responsibilities within industry-wide forums such as task forces and industry association committees.
