Under minimal supervision, manages various research related activities as assigned, working on large, multiple or multi-site projects that focus on a variety of topics related to health and healthcare services, primarily in Orthopedics. Study subject duties may include management of recruitment and enrollment activities, performing qualitative and structured interviews, and facilitating focus group sessions. Data management duties may include data collection, data entry, database management, analysis and reporting, and dissemination of results. Research administration duties may include assisting with development of study and regulatory materials, protocols and procedures, and training/coaching junior team members in research and protocol activities. Additional duties may include conducting literature reviews, and acting as point of contact for study participants.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with team and participants, and to coach/train junior team members in research and protocol activities. Must be comfortable working with diverse populations. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Knowledge of protocol adherence and advanced research practices, with ability to monitor team activities for compliance and accuracy. Knowledge of advanced research methods and rules of patient confidentiality. Knowledge of database programs, advanced data analysis practices, synthesis of findings, and ability to monitor team activities for compliance and accuracy. Knowledge of regulatory compliance management practices. Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, learn research methods, and apply general research best practices.
Bilingual skills preferred.
Bachelor's Degree required.
Four years of related experience required. Prior experience leading teams required.
