Responsibilities Under the divisional direction, the Community Hospital Network Manager will operationalize a dynamic and efficient outreach program in partnership with internal and external constituents, and future affiliated programs with community providers in accordance with the applicable regulatory requirements and business objectives of the organization. This position will work with multiple stakeholders to assure the development of a highly reliable care delivery system.
The scope of the responsibilities is broad, ranging from program management, fiscal management and strategic planning, personnel management and administration, and service line development and clinical redesign. Functioning as a lead and main point of contact for operational oversight of contracted services with direction from UCDH leadership, implement and operationalize processes that assure operations, quality and fiduciary viability in existing program(s) where applicable. Identify, develop, and optimize product offerings and services in accordance and consistent with the mission of UC Davis Health. Additionally, this position will develop and sustain positive working relationships across the campuses by collaborating with clinical leadership to establish and maintain quality metrics. Will monitor financial information that provide a continuing and comprehensive view of outreach budget and return on investment-type analyses.
Experience working collaboratively and effectively with multi-disciplinary, cross-functional teams.
Strong knowledge of physician network development practices, process improvement, and cost management initiatives.
Project management experience delivering full lifecycle project plans.
Analytical skills to effectively comprehend large datasets which can include but not limited to medical, administrative and fiscal information.
Bachelor's Degree in health administration field, and/or related business field or equivalent education, experience andtraining.
Demonstrated effective leadership skills.
Knowledge of JCAHO and Title 22 rules and regulations to assure clinic program(s) and operations are incompliance.
Experience and knowledge of business management principles; and of budget control and accounting principles, including cost accounting, professional and patient billing, contract administration, etc; and ability to apply such principles to health care environment.
Knowledge of personal and/or mainframe computers, and software tools, including word processing, spreadsheet,database, and other applications packages.
Effective oral and written communication skills with individuals and groups of all levels throughout the organization.
Advanced degree(s), such as MBA, MHA, MS, or similar.
Work experience in academic healthcare setting.
Experience in service line leadership/ Process Improvement.
Outreach experience and skills to establish program needs and resource requirements.
Special Requirements This position will have an office in two locations Sacramento and Lodi. This position may be subject to a criminal background investigation, drug screen, Live Scan fingerprinting, medical evaluation clearance, and functional capacity assessment.
