Essential Duties & Responsibilities: This position is required to teach students in a work-and-learn model that reflects today's just-in-time workplace environment. Candidates must possess the ability to teach in an interactive learning environment, including demonstrations, lab and lecture, and the hands-on skills used in manufacturing. The successful candidate must have a strong knowledge of manufacturing concepts and must be able to follow a focused instructional timeline that prepares graduates for the fast-paced world of manufacturing.
The duties/responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Provide instruction in advanced manufacturing courses.
Serve as a role model and mentor to participating female students and other underrepresented groups.
Participate in student and employer recruitment events, as well as student retention activities.
Participate in team planning meetings.
Track student progress.
Fulfill reporting requirements and other institutional expectations.
Required Qualifications: Associate's degree in a manufacturing-related field or equivalent of work experience required. Three (3) years related work experience in manufacturing is required.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred. Prior teaching or workplace training experience preferred. An interest in working with females and other underrepresented groups in a manufacturing setting is preferred. Experience training in a manufacturing setting is preferred.

Selected candidate will perform a teaching demonstration.
Positions are based on a term-contract, with the expectancy of continuance based on performance.
