The Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for:
Assuring accurate payroll processing for two busy clinical areas including ongoing discussion with the nurse manager and support of the reconciliation of issues with employees for their timecard questions, including processing of payroll corrections and ad hoc incentive programs.
Ensuring that payroll processing is done in compliance with hospital policies and state labor laws.
Ensuring all Program personnel are trained in Hospital policies and procedures as well as the appropriate features of the Hospital's information systems, including follow-up training and consultations.
Organizing and maintaining daily administrative operations of department. Supporting onboarding of new staff including locker assignments, requests for account set up and vendor management. Preparing periodic reports and documents to comply with hospital, governmental, regulatory and/or funding agency requirements.
Ensuring patient and staff satisfaction by providing positive and effective customer service. Monitoring and assessing management and operations for patient satisfaction. Recommending and implementing improvements to service.
Participating in ad hoc rounding to improve clinical environment. Initiating work orders to get repairs completed.
Working independently on special projects and providing detailed analyses and reporting on findings as requested by management.
To qualify, you must have:
The level of knowledge typically acquired through completion of 2 to 4 years in an ccupationally-specific education or an Associate's degree in business or a closely related field and 3+ years of related experience. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
The analytical skills to resolve problems that require the use of basic scientific, mathematical, or technical principles.
The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
Demonstrated knowledge of hospital systems, operations and managed care.
Experience in Kronos timekeeping or Peoplesoft is preferred.
