A meaningful role as a Compliance Officer in our Sanctions Advisory Team in Zurich
As a member of the team you will be part of a group of specialists ensuring that the Bank's Swiss operations are aligned with applicable governmental and internal sanctions and embargo requirements
Assessments of customer relations with nexus to sanctioned countries or persons
You will perform internal searches against newly sanctioned parties as we all provide guidance to the business on sanctions related matters
Participation in the team's further activities, including reputational risk reviews, drafting and negotiation of sanctions related legal clauses, compliance monitoring and quality assurance activities, analysis and implementation of new sanctions related regulatory and internal requirements
As part of our forward-thinking and high performing team you are going to work on different projects and working groups
You will have the chance to interact with front areas, counterparts at corporate level and in other regions frequently
A university degree in an area related to Law or Business Administration
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the financial industry, ideally in the area of anti-money laundering, sanctions and/or legal contracts negotiation; experience with financial products is an asset
Excellent written and oral language skills in English and German, additional languages are a plus
You have good analytical skills and a risk and process oriented way of thinking
You combine strong PowerPoint and Excel skills with an enthusiastic approach to the role, together with attention to detail, well-organized joint-up thinking and a positive personality and can-do attitude
You are a dedicated problem solver with a positive, empathetic personality who loves to prioritize multiple challenging assignments and has the ability to work under pressure
You have an independent, exact and result oriented working style as well as an open, flexible and team oriented attitude
