The Messaging eDiscovery team is responsible for the collection of Electronically Stored Information (ESI) from Corporate production messaging products which include Microsoft Exchange, Skype for Business, Bloomberg, Symphony, etc. We support the Wells Fargo Legal Discovery Team, Regulatory Compliance teams and the Computer Crimes and Forensics Investigations Team as well as partner closely with the IT eDiscovery Services team. The team is composed of Case Managers, Collectors and Project Support staff. On a daily basis we receive confidential requests from our internal customers asking for ESI for a specific set of team members, addresses and dates. The requests are reviewed, researched, data collected, documented and shipped to the next team or vendor for processing. The work performed utilizes internally created and vendor supplied user interfaces as well as creation and running of scripts.
EDiscovery Case Manager This person will be part of a Case Management team consisting of Senior Case Manager and Junior Case Manager. The Senior Case Manager will provide the necessary training and support as the person grows into the roll in addition to many other duties. The Junior Case Manager is a collector that also preforms case management duties twice a week. The Case Manager roll is key to the EDiscovery team as it is the point roll for all requests and communications with Legal, Compliance and CCFIT. The Case Manager is responsible for reviewing the requests to ensure all necessary data is provided, researching the request, assigning out to collectors and monitoring progress for completion.
3+ years of systems support analysis experience
1+ years of experience working in a legal department, legal firm or eDiscovery firm
2+ years of process definition and documentation experience
2+ years of data collection and reporting experience
A BS/BA degree or higher
Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders
Ability to handle confidential material in a professional manner

Exercises discretion regarding research inquiry actions to identify, evaluate and take necessary actions on an individual request basis.
Responsible for preparing research documentation and inputting collection needs into request management team site and assigns out cases to collection team based on case workload
Knowledge and understanding of eDiscovery early case assessment, EDRM and Data culling tools
Utilizes extensive knowledge of Wells Fargo communication systems, processes and contacts as resources for conducting research.
May act as a person most knowledgeable of communication systems with legal counsel and national discovery counsel.
Provides backup support for other team members within Case Management roles
Acts as a liaison between Legal Discovery Team and case collections team at case inception and should issues arise preventing or delaying discovery along with solutions and controls to prevent future incidents.
Participates in messaging change control review sessions to identify changes that may potentially affect eDiscovery procedures and ensure that all testing has been completed before implementation
Ability to work additional hours as needed
