My client is a leading trading firm based in The City of London. They are looking to recruit a Compliance Generalist - Trading House specialist, for an immediate start for an initial 12 week period that will be extended to permanent placement.
Compliance Generalist - Trading House , City of London, Financial Services
Day to day running of compliance monitoring programme, compliance manual and ancillary compliance procedural documents, systems and controls;
Oversight of outsourced and internal anti-money laundering processes and procedures;
Managing onboarding process for new brokers including initial KYC / DD.
Arranging the setup and registration of traders with clearers and exchanges;
Completing both new hire and revised employee background checks;
Complete and maintain SM&CR assessments;
Responsible for monitoring and organising ongoing employee training;
Dealing with all clearer and exchange queries;
Oversight of all mandatory reporting requirements;
Responsible for maintenance or GDPR processes and procedures;
Co-ordination of Cayman entity board meetings and meeting pack production;
Act as point of contact for Cayman entity board;
Responsible for Sponsor Licence visa requirements and applications for international employees;
liaise with external compliance consultants as required;
Keep up to date with all relevant industry developments;
Ad hoc project work.
To be successful in this Compliance Generalist - Trading House specialist role you must:
Be an experienced Compliance Generalist, This role is not suitable for KYC and AML experienced candidates only.
You must have worked in a Trading Firm
You must have 2-3 years compliance experience in a similar role, you must be an experienced compliance professional
Knowledge and understanding of the relevant UK and international regulatory rules and requirements
Experience AML / KYC processes
Good knowledge of Cayman structures
Strong communication skills key for building both internal and external relationships
Able to work remotely initially, but latterly be able to commute to City of London location with ease
Must show a high degree of interest, and previous experience working within financial services industry institution
Immediate vacancy for Compliance Generalist - Trading House Specialist paying up to £300 per day, or £60k equivalent
12 week assignment initially, followed by a permanent contract.
