What you will be doing:
Assists in the management and promotion of the Corporate Integrity Program. Responsibilities include assisting with the maintenance, enhancement, development, implementation, and monitoring of Cedars-Sinai Corporate Integrity Program. Participates in special projects. Coordinates regulatory interpretation needs, assists with responses to compliance questions/issues, perform compliance reporting, supports compliance training and assists with the development and implementation of compliance auditing and monitoring strategies, including coordination and performing investigations, audits, and analysis. Works collaboratively with Corporate Integrity, management and other staff to ensure that compliance initiatives are implemented. Responsible for monitoring, tracking, and providing guidance on industry regulations, state and federal compliance requirements, system compliance policies, Federal Sentencing Guidelines and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Conditions of Participation and seven elements of an effective Compliance Program:

Reporting and investigations
Response and prevention
Provides intake of inquiries and complaints submitted by employees, physicians and the public. Coordinates the review of and resolution of compliance issues and concerns.
Conducts monthly sanction screening processes for all employees and vendors, as appropriate.
Works with team to compile and maintain information, prepare reports and dashboards for trending compliance results, monitor effectiveness of controls, tracking policy and procedure development, and training.
Supports planning and execution of internal committee meetings.
Coordinates educational compliance programs for physicians, employees, and vendors.
Supports compliance audits, risk assessments and ongoing compliance monitoring activities including the coordination of data requests. Assists in identifying, developing, implementing and maintaining compliance policies and procedures and department documentation.
Keep tabs on state and federal requirements. Communicates changes/updates to stakeholders and leaders. Tracks changes in healthcare regulations including fraud and abuse, privacy and security, CMS billing and requirements and Medicaid.
