Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Program Coordinator for the NJ COVID – 19 Coordinating Entity program at Rutgers, University Behavioral Health Care.
Under supervision of the Call Center Program Manager, manages all the day-to-day aspects of the COVID-19 Coordinating Entity program and acts as the liaison to the funding agency as needed and/or required by this position. Manages the activities and staff of the program. Ensures the quality of the telephone-based counseling and crisis interventions are provided. Ensures compliance with relevant funding agency and regulatory agency requirements.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Participates as a member of the administrative and clinical management team and is responsible for overseeing, managing and preparing documentation needed by the funding agency to continue funding.
Provides an in-depth clinical assessment for all types of consumers based upon DSM-IV criteria.
Assists the Program Manager in the day-to-day operation of the program.
Plans, trains and supervises the work of others engaged in professional and paraprofessional delivery of program specific ser vices.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Master's Degree required in mental health discipline plus four (4) years postgraduate experience in a mental health setting.
Applicants possessing a degree in Social Work must have an active New Jersey certification/licensure as required by the State Board of Social Work.
An active New Jersey license as required by the Licensing Boards of New Jersey.
Applicants must possess a clinical license, which allows that individual to independently provide services (Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Psychologist).
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must possess a valid driver's license in good standing.
One (1) year of prior supervisory experience.
Call Center experience desirable.
