We are looking for a Health Informatics Specialist to work at our Corporate office in Brentwood, TN ! If you possess a “whatever it takes attitude” keep reading. It’s hard to pinpoint a “typical” day here (and who wants typical anyway?), but as the Health Informatics Specialist , you will be part of the Clinical Applications & Delivery team and will participate in the planning, organizing, and enhancement of Clinical Application workflow and content at Premise Health Centers. The Clinical Informatics Specialist interfaces & collaborates with Implementations, Client Reporting, Application Training, IT, CPM, Billing & Coding, and Medical Leadership teams. What You'll Do For Us: Participates in the review, design, development, and testing of Clinical Applications workflow and content. Develops best practice workflows in collaboration with other teams. Develops, maintains, & documents clinical content to include look up table values, application configurations, and forms/questionnaires/reports. Focuses on medical compliance, regulatory guidelines, quality assurance measures and best practices based on Medical Leader’s and CPM’s policies. Documents available workflows, content, and User tips for the Training Team so they may edit for the end user Conducts Train-the-Trainer Sessions via virtual environment using the developed documents Provides assistance with Application demonstrations for potential clients Organizes, schedules, & facilitates assigned Users Group Meetings Collaborates with all functional areas of the business to ensure clinical alignment and scope of practice based on need for complete chart documentation Be a Subject Matter Expert in the application Attends application training sessions provided by the vendor Reads all available HELP and Technical documents for the application Manage Clinical Platform Change Committee requests Organizes/documents/logs change requests Manages portal site to post agendas and document work done Develops requirements for system changes based on analysis completed with clinical workflows and system function Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience Clinical Licensure or Allied Health licensure/certification preferred Experience: 5+ years’ experience participating in the conduct of Clinical systems content development, implementation and supporting Clinical Information systems. 3 years’ experience working in a virtual environment preferred 1 -2 years’ experience in health/clinical informatics preferred Experience with UL’s OHM preferred or will consider experience with other Enterprise EHR solution Occupational Health documentation experience preferred 3 years Clinical Applications training experience preferred Knowledge and Skills: Clinical documentation knowledge required. Advanced understanding of clinical applications functions and usage to include configurations, clinical content, and clinical workflows. Must prioritize the day-to-day activities to provide a level of service that affects outcomes. Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Excellent presentation skills, confident in all settings with individuals at all levels of the organization both internal and external. Ability to gain cooperation and support through effective use of influence and persuasion. Possess creativity and present a proactive approach to all assigned activities. Possess good organization skills and be able to prioritize multiple projects and objectives in a rapidly changing environment. Be detail oriented, self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Maintain a high energy level and be willing to embrace new theory and practical application. Understanding of adult learning concepts.
