Responsibilities: • Work with Director of Sales to set and attain goals for specific accounts and new business in the North East USA territory. • Target, prospect, communicate and visit accounts on a regular basis. • Travel time requirement is greater than 50%. • Meet or exceed annual goals for North East USA territory sales. • Gain strong knowledge of customer technologies and applications to recognize business opportunities and work as a problem solver. • Utilize and promote the strengths in the global capabilities of the Sigma Koki/OptoSigma Group to increase business. • Work closely with OptoSigma engineering and inside sales to successfully maintain existing business and capture new business. • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. • Assist in the continued enhancement of the OptoSigma brand awareness by active participation in exhibits/conferences. • Use CRM database; entering customer leads and activities on a regular basis. • Performs other duties as directed
• BS/BA Degree in a Photonics related field, MBA preferred • Minimum 3-5-years’ experience in Photonics field sales. • Proven track record for year over year sales growth • Creative sales and business development strategies • Strong computer skills required.
