The Manager of Learning Content Development is responsible for the design, development and implementation of online learning and classroom training materials to support ethics and compliance learning programs. This individual coordinates with the Senior Manager of E&C Learning & Policy Development to design and develop curricula.
Key Job Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
Design, develop, and implement learning and development content, including instructor-led training presentations, eLearning courses, and other online learning media (including audio, video, graphics files).
Manage multiple projects while working effectively with subject matter experts (SMEs), internal stakeholders, and third-party suppliers
Determine appropriate learning delivery methods in the context of development needs, audience, and instructional technology capabilities.
Provide LMS administration team with final course materials ready to be deployed to the LMS.
In collaboration with corporate communications, support the design and development of intranet sites and communications to support training initiatives.
Manage curriculum in collaboration with LMS administration team and business stakeholders.
BS in Instructional Design, Instructional/Educational Technology, or related field
Minimum 5 years' experience in instructional design and corporate learning content development
Project management skills, relationship building and presentation skills
Understanding of Learning Management Systems and SCORM
Experience with developing eLearning courses
Effective organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Third party vendor management experience
Ability to take initiative, collaboration and teamwork skills
Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. This includes alternative ways to inform and educate via written, oral, and visual media
Up to 10% travel is required based upon business needs
MS in Instructional Design or Instructional/Educational Technology
Experience in media development and editing
Minimum of 3 years in a highly regulated environment
Understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements for training
