Coordinates & completes activities associated with the creation and implementation of participant recruitment strategies designed to enhance enrollment in a single complex, large, nationwide or multiple moderately complex concurrent biomedical &/or social-behavioral research study(ies) involving multiple sites& /or longitudinal assessments/ interventions. Ensures that all recruitment and enrollment activities are completed by strictly following Good Clinical Practices (GCP) & all relevant current local, state, & federal laws, regulations, guidance, policy & procedure developed by the NU Institutional Review Board (IRB), Food & Drug Administration (FDA) Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), & the International Conference on Harmonization (ICH).
Coordinates and guides the creation and implementation of a recruitment plan associated with clinical research studies involving human subjects ensuring the protection of their safety, rights, and welfare.
Determines, interprets and applies rules and regulations (NU, local, state, federal, industry, sponsor, etc.) and recommends and guides principal investigators (PIs) and research staff in the creation, submission, documenting, reporting, etc. of study recruitment and enrollment activities ensuring appropriate compliance.
Acts as liaison between research staff (PI, faculty, nurses, technicians, etc.), and internal/external regulatory and oversight groups (NU’s IRB, sponsors (NIH, industry), government agencies (FDA), etc.), advertisers, etc. to resolve issues and problems, negotiate compromises, and offer alternatives and recommendations to facilitate and expedite study recruitment and enrollment while ensuring compliance.
Designs recruitment screening tools and advertisements and other recruitment materials including online and social media campaigns
Completes informed consent.
Will maintain and update large databases housing potential research subjects.
Guides and coordinates all recruitment, enrollment and advertisement submission, documentation, and reporting processes recommending alternatives to ensure compliance and approval.
Determines compliance required documentation and drafts necessary items.
Creates reports, summaries and analysis in regard to compliance requirements recommending changes in practice or procedure to increase effectiveness and efficiency of compliance.
Advises project staff on enhancements and changes to processes, practices, and procedures to ensure compliance with protocols and to increase effectiveness and efficiency of recruitment, enrollment and/or advertisement.
Ensures appropriate and timely compliance with associated local, state, & federal regulatory guidelines, requirements, & laws; & research protocols.
Researches new and updated rules and regulations associated with clinical research studies and trials involving human subjects. Alerts appropriate staff to changes and ensures appropriate interpretation and application to new and existing studies and trials.
Provides guidance and training to staff to ensure compliance with complex, highly specialized rules and regulations associated with clinical research studies and trials involving human subject
Trains, directs, assigns duties to & supervises research staff, students, residents &/or fellows.
Acts as a mentor in regard to education of junior staff.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree in a major such as marketing or business or related; OR appropriate combination of education and experience and 2 years' research study or other relevant experience required; OR
Successful completion of a full course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a master's or higher degree in a major such as social or health science or related; OR appropriate combination of education and experience and 1 year research study or other relevant experience.
Must complete NU's IRB CITI training before interacting with any participants & must re-certify every 3 years

Website management experience.
Digital advertising experience.
Experience in graphic design.

Demonstrated history of successful marketing/sales tactics.
