Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Instructor will teach eight courses (four in Fall and four in Spring) every 9-month academic year in industrial technology such as electricity/electronics, programmable logic controllers, motor controls, robotics, and automation. The courses may be offered during the day or evening and may be face-to-face or online/hybrid delivery. The Instructor will effectively participate with the faculty to achieve the departmental goals.
Earned master's degree, at the time of employment, from an accredited institution
ABDs or degree pending considered (all but DISS):
Earned master's degree in industrial engineering technology, electrical engineering, engineering technology or closely related technology field
Practical experience in industry
Experience in robotics and/or automation of manufacturing processes
Experience teaching electrical theory and practice
Higher education teaching experience
Experience teaching online and hybrid courses using a learning management system
Experience using current technological tools to facilitate learning
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to use modern computer hardware and software in delivering instruction
Skills with technologies relevant to industrial technology
