The Middlesex Community College Advanced Manufacturing/Precision Machining Program seeks to fill a part-time faculty position to teach evening courses in Advanced Manufacturing/Precision Machining for the Spring 2019 semester. The need is for a faculty member dedicated to excellence and able to work inclusively with students of diverse identities and backgrounds. The College is committed to hiring creative and knowledgeable individuals that have expertise in their discipline.
A successful candidate for this position is a creative and knowledgeable individual who is capable of teaching courses in Advanced Manufacturing, Precision Machining
Earned High school diploma, GED or HiSET
Instructor must be NIMS certified and have demonstrated teaching experience
Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience required
Ability to work well with and to be sensitive to students, faculty and staff of diverse identities such as sexual orientation, socioeconomic level, cultural, race and ethnic backgrounds, including those with different levels of academic preparation and varying physical and learning abilities.
AS or BS degree
CH74 vocational training license
Details: The courses are ADM 110 Precision Machining 1 and ADM 111 Precision Machining II will be taught at Nashoba Valley Technical High School in Westford, MA. The courses run January to May, Monday through Thursday 4:00pm - 9:00pm. Each course contains 150 instructional hours.
ADM 110 (6 credits) Begins January 21 and ends the week of 3/15/2019
ADM 111 (6 credits) Begins the week of 3/18/2019 and ends 5/16/2019
