Senior Clinical Research Coordinator
The Psychosis Research Center is recruiting a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator for a collaborative NIH funded research project. The multi-site study will examine the dose-related effects of a potential therapeutic on neuroimaging biomarkers in schizophrenia patients.Â Â The project involves multiple visits for each participant, adherence to inclusion/exclusion criteria, clinical and cognitive assessment, laboratory tests, MRI scanning and data integration.
The Senior Clinical Research Coordinatorâ™s responsibilities include executing andÂ overseeing the entire protocol andÂ ensuring adherence to procedures including recruitment efforts, clinical intake, clinical assessment with established scales, project monitoring and quality control.Â Â The position requires coordination with multiple collaborating sites, maintaining accurate, complete and timely records, including source documents, consent forms, protocol documents, and regulatory documents, as required by IRB.
Bachelorâ™s degree in biomedical related field and 4-6 years of prior clinical research experience working in the mental health field or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.Â Â Educational background in clinical psychology with a Masters or PhD degree is preferred. High organizational skills and established skills in complex clinical studies are essential. Must be able to multi-task and shift from one project to another depending upon priority. Candidates must possess demonstrated computer skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, data management skills, and experience working independently.
Background check required. Must pass Pennsylvania s Child Protective Services Act (also known as Act 73) background checks, within 30-90 days of employment. Position contingent on funding.
